If you are a Post pay subscriber & wish to take international roaming on a fresh connection then just tick the same on Tariff Enrolment Form. Existing subscribers can simply fill the Roaming agreement form with a photo ID. International roaming monthly charges @ Rs.99 per month will be charged for the same. There is also a refundable security deposit of INR 3,000/- for International Roaming.

Following documents will be acceptable as Photo Id:

Passport Copy
Driving License
Pan Photo Id
Credit Card Copy

You will have to do minor setting on your phone before you start using the international roaming service on your Tata DOCOMO SIM.

To ensure that your International roaming is working you will have to go to your phone menu and look for Dive In Now services. Select it and you will get the following options in the Dive In Now Main Menu:

English Menu
Hindi Menu
International Roaming
mCheck/(mWallet)

You will have to select International roaming and then choose Roam 2 as an option in-order to start using the service. In some high end handsets the option of Dive in Now services (DSTK) will appear under the applications sub menu.

Seamless Roaming now available in 36 countries without any handset settings. For other countries Roam2 option as explained above needs to be selected. “To check the list of 36 countries and services available please click below”.

Before you leave, check that your international roaming is active.

To call back home, you may wish to store '+91' followed by your family and friends phone numbers in your phone book.

Do remember to switch off your mobile phone when you board the plane.

Choosing a network when abroad

Your phone should automatically select the local network with the best network after you switch it on, it may take a little longer for the network name to appear.

If no network name appears, go to the 'Settings' menu on your phone; choose 'Network Selection', and then 'Manual'. Choose the network you want from the list.

Making calls when you're abroad

Calling a number in the country you're visiting.

Dial the full number, including area code, as you would at home.

Receiving calls when you're abroad.

The same as when you're in the India - except you're charged when you receive calls.

Sending text messages

Works exactly the same as when you're in the India.

Is Roam2 available for all operators?

For some operators Roam2 is not available

Before you leave, check your roaming function has been activated, by simply calling our 24 hours customers service helpline.
It is advisable to take along a world traveller plug as some countries power sockets may be different from those used here.
Make sure your handset will work in the country you're travelling to.
To call back home, you may wish to store '91' followed by your family and friends phone numbers in your phone book.
Please check the Handset compatibility with Network frequency (GSM MHz 850/900/1800/1900) before travelling outside India.
Avoid unnecessary calls while roaming by selecting the Roaming Caller tune.
If you lose your Tata DOCOMO mobile phone or SIM card while roaming, call Tata DOCOMO customer care immediately.

The tariffs show exclusive of VAT, service tax and any taxes charged by foreign network would be additional.
Tariffs are indicative and subject to change without prior notice.
Caller Line Identification Number (CLI) is not guaranteed while roaming.
All GPRS (Dive In / Internet /MMS/Blackberry) usage is charged based on Volume.
Calls made to customer care centre (from international roaming location) will be charged as per the international roaming tariff.

We suggest you cancel the call divert/ forward facility when you' re roaming . In case you require to use call forward facility pls use the "unconditional/ all calls" option or "switched off / not reachable" option.
In case Conditional call divert is active, call charges for both the incoming call and diverted leg are charged.
